Her passion in working is experimenting with materials and giving them her own mark. She finds this vital in order to create the intriguing appearance and surfaces necessary for the tactile materiality to communicate the stories or thoughts behind her work. Her various bodies of work have included the use of pigmented and moulded resin, felt and textile workings, a special series using amber and reconstructed amber with artificial resin, as well as the more recent recent series using unglazed bone china (in part colour-stained) in her own special technique and combined with different other media.
