Ali vs Patterson
Necklace, oxidised silver, pearl thread. The silver dots in the necklace has a pattern.
It is a time axis on which I have indicated each punch in a boxing match between
Muhammad Ali and Floyd Patterson. I thought i boxing match would make a nice pattern
since I think it has a good rhythm. The pattern is rebuilt as the dots themselves makes the
same pattern on the pearl thread, in a larger scale.
I like repetitions, I like small things, and I like putting many small things together,
creating jewellery where the whole as well as the variations are important. The pieces
always have some kind of story behind them. Sometimes it is not at all visible and the
starting point often contains more humour than the jewellery express.
