Prior to moving to a career as a full time artist, Bridget worked in finance and IT in Australia and the UK.
Bridget spent her early years living in Fiji and has traveled extensively and lived in many countries.
The cultural and educational influences of her successive living and working environments are apparent in her work.
Bridget has recently completed an advanced Diploma of Jewellery and Object Design at
The Design Centre where she was awarded the College Achievement Award and the Jewellery
and Object Design Award (access residency). She was recently awarded First Prize (Emerging Artist Category)
in the JMGA Profile Exhibition 2008 and is currently completing the Jewellery Trade Certificate III course.
She has recently opened Studio 20/17 (www.studio2017.wordpress.com) with fellow jeweller Melanie Ihnen
at 2 Danks St, Waterloo 2017.
