The fixation of the pieces of jewellery and other
objects of peronal value I have collected by
way of the rather unconventional technique of
silicone casting, is a snap-shot of my time and
the culture I am part of, the culture of an often
unreflected consumers’ society, in which objects
become easily disposable.
With jewellery not the material but the ideal
value should come to the fore, so that the
personality of everyone can get expressed,
shaped and reflected. The idea of democratic
jewellery and of sharing my messages and
my collected and unique objects is important
for me. That´s also a reason why I choose the
silicone casting method.
There is a strong contrast between the material
of non-precious silicone, the cast precious
jewellery pieces and a very personal content.
By changing the original materiality of the used
objects into silicone or resin, a new harmony
of material, colour is created, a novel entity.

Artist Statement
The jewellery and wall pieces I have designed are an interpretative response to contemporary architecture. I am interested in identifying a particular viewpoint of a building and subsequently produce graphic drawings illustrating its inner and outer structural lines.
These 2-dimensional diagrams provide templates from which I produce 3-dimensional forms.  I am interested in testing the spatial boundary between the 2D and 3D, manipulating sheet into planar objects whilst never becoming fully volumetric.
Each piece relies on another for its outer silhouette as one sheet of metal produces at least three structures.  Positive space informs negative and vice versa.

I´m fascinated by jewellery and by the fact that every person owns and wears ornaments of one kind or another. This universality impresses me and stimulates me to make jewellery which I would like to see people wearing. Those people could be my aunts or anyone else.

The Geom collection is a collection of silver jewellery inspired by the
platonic solids. The platonic solids are discovered by Plato, and there
exist only five. I explored the facets of the solids and used elements
from them. I have them taken apart and used as building blocks to create a
new image, which resulted in the Geom collection.
The Geom collection contains rings, bracelets and necklaces. For

malmsbury
This series is a response to a site of Malmsbury, a small town located in Victoria, Australia.
The jewellery pieces attempt to echo both the winter atmosphere I’ve encountered at the time,
as well as to acknowledge the presence of the drought and how delicate it has rendered some of
the oldest and largest trees on site. 

I’ve developed this series of neckpieces using twigs and small
branches as a main material, naturally discarded from trees that I’ve found on the ground in the
Malmsbury Botanic Gardens. The pieces suggest an immediacy and
a link between the wearer and the site itself.

I create flamboyant, sculptural and wearable pieces that combine ambivalent aspects of appeal and repulsion. 
Jewellery that attracts attention, pieces that catch the eye and demand self-confidence and conviction to wear, 
thus challenging the boundaries of what constitutes jewellery.My work unsettles the borderline between beautiful 
and ugly in order to tease the perception of the beholder and to evoke reactions. I find it exciting and thrilling to trigger curiosity and challenge viewers to engage and discover, 
while simultaneously leaving space for individual interpretation. I believe that provoking this playful inquisitiveness 
is of value to us because it stimulates and originates distinct conditions, which in turn allow for experiences that we 
would not be exposed to otherwise.
The aesthetic qualities of my ambiguous jewellery are based on an organic form-vocabulary and the introduction of innovative 
materials and techniques, which I combine and contrast with my traditional goldsmithing skills. An open approach and 
material-based research, spontaneity and the dynamics that come from intuitive working processes enable me to develop 
a range of elements, which are then combined to create the compositions of my vibrant work.

Jewellery as an amulet – a bearer of memory, a reminder.

Creating scenes, as a stage designer offering the observer a gateway to an inner world of performance. A world outside our rational and material reality. Proposing a beyond that can not be formulated in words.

My jewellery is about metalingualism and roots. About silence and buildings. About a longing and a striving to remain, building, putting things in order and arranging things as if we would never dissapear.Backsides, insides and secret rooms are important aspects of my work. Carrying hidden rooms along – a secret close to your skin not allowed for everyone to see.

I graduated from Ädellab/Konstfack in 2008 and work since then in a studio in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm. My interest concerns the borders between the spoken and unspoken.

In my recent work I have concentrated on the state of opposition; of being inside and outside, of being together and at the same time apart.
These pieces try to communicate with each other, but they are always subjected to a kind of separation, they are together and yet still alone….

Forms, fragments – not as mere pictures of something but as reminiscences,
allowing various associations.
Leaving space to find a very specific connection between the piece and one’s
personal experiences. Possibly tracing down parts of a long lost story through
colors, forms and details carrying it on your body.

I am working with the structure of the silver surface (which is altered through
chasing and reticulation) and the merging of the color nuances of the various
enamels into each other and into the surface. I am interested in what is
happening within this surface, how a certain shape or structure could have originated.

Organic forms inspired by nature have also been important to me in my
photographic work, in my most recent pieces I draw a lot of inspiration
from the “licheni” – Italian for lichen.
