Human Insides

The initial idea of this art project was, to present an imaginative and
decorative view of the inside of the human body. An important aspect
during the project development was, to express the different faces of life
until death and the transitoriness of individuals. My reflections concerning
the preciousness of human life are always linked to thoughts of momentariness
and the unique human conditions hence resulting. To realise this concept,
I used the Electroforming-technology, in order to express the thin-skinned and
the vulnerability of human organs. I developed objects with fictive, dynamic and
organic appearance. The shapes and the surfaces describe different conditions
of growths, mutations, sickness and the limitations of the human body.
The material I used for this work is silver, dyed in different colours.
As a result, I produced a number of pendants and brooches.
