Statment :
I am inspired by evocative forms, the unspoken, withheld energy, the contrast of empty spaces and the silence between the two – in other words, suspension. For these reasons I like to work with hard metals like shibuichi and iron. They possess both an internal tension and surprising lightness.
In addition, I am constantly delighted by the preciousness of antique gold and its ability to bring to life certain hues of red.
Making jewellery represents for me a private space, a place where I can share stories, a journey within myself, a bridge between me and the world. My pieces are sculptures for the body, fragments of experiences lived, the end and the beginning of another journey.
