The underlying concept of her work is grounded in an investigation of various
backgrounds and connections. This drives the selection of particular colours and
materials, items dear to her, which lead to their final composition. Exploration,
movement, and tactile sensations break open the common and accepted view.
The notion is to investigate boundaries, pose questions, and to find relationships.
Some of her recent works deals with “The Concept of Body”:
the cliché of what’s portraid in media versus the unreachable expectations of reality.
One of the motivating factors is artificial appearance. “Body Extensions” implies a
realization that we are in an evolutionary experiment.
