I mean, for example, when it gets dark, you can just turn on a light or a lamp. Because when the power goes out, logically any lamp in the house will not work.So I also learned to buy lamps and flashlights at the little pencil battery store. I am afraid of the dark and don\\’t really like dark places. I don\\’t like it when the TV doesn\\’t come on or doesn\\’t work. This is what happens when the power goes out. It happens a lot in our village. Especially in winter and fall, we have terrible winds and storms. So we have power outages all the time. I can\\’t tell you how many times that has bothered me, and how many times I\\’ve been threatened with another blackout when the storm starts.  That is why I am glad we have great lighting. I myself have a big lamp that I paid almost $1,500 for, and when you put a big round battery in it, it glows for a really long time. Some lamps are great for recharging; if you keep them 100% fully charged, you don\\’t have to worry about the lamps not lighting up in the event of a power outage. Also, in many cases, these flashlights can be used 24 hours a day, so you don\\’t have to worry about being without power and without light all day.
